From Printing Know-How to Manufacturing

Polyprint’s roots go back to 1976, through long-term involvement in the sale and support of screen printing machines and consumables. This period built deep practical knowledge of textile decoration, production workflows, materials, and customer expectations.

In 1998, Polyprint also performed some of the first installations of large-format sublimation printing systems, gaining early experience with digital textile technologies long before they became mainstream. This period formed the technical and commercial foundation that would later define the company.

In 2003, this accumulated expertise led to the formal founding of Polyprint in Thessaloniki, Greece, with a clear decision to operate as a manufacturer, investing in product development, and assembly.

2005-2010
DTG pioneer phase

Early DTG Innovation & Market Entry

In 2005, Polyprint launched its first DTG printer at the SGIA exhibition in the USA, entering the international digital garment printing market. The following years focused on building reliable DTG systems and learning directly from real production environments.

Continuous feedback from early customers influenced improvements in print quality, usability, maintenance, and serviceability, shaping Polyprint’s engineering culture.

2011-2015
International growth

Global Expansion & Dealer Network

By 2011, Polyprint reached 1,000 installations worldwide, confirming its position as an established DTG manufacturer. Growth continued through the development of a structured international dealer network, enabling localized sales, training, and technical support.

This phase reinforced Polyprint’s dealer-first approach and strengthened its ability to serve diverse markets with consistent product standards.

2015-2018
Portfolio expansion

Beyond a single product

As production needs evolved, Polyprint expanded its portfolio beyond single printers. The company introduced multiple DTG platforms, hybrid screen-and-digital solutions, and complementary equipment such as the PreTreater Pro.

This phase marked the transition from individual machines to a more complete view of garment printing operations, with greater emphasis on consistency, repeatability, and operational efficiency.

2019-2024
System-Based Solutions & Global Presence

Foundation & Manufacturing DNA

Polyprint continued to evolve toward system-based solutions, introducing complementary technologies such as the PreTreater Pro and early DTF with DTG workflows like DTF Xpress. Product development increasingly focused on how machines, consumables, and processes work together in daily production.

The establishment of Polyprint USA in 2021 strengthened international operations and partner support, while the launch of the Texjet NG series in 2022 reflected a next-generation focus on usability, reliability, and workflow integration.

Today & Forward: Refined DTF Focus

Today, Polyprint focuses on compact and reliable DTF systems such as the Filmjet Mini series, built on more than 20 years of manufacturing experience and decades of printing heritage.

Development priorities include ease of use, predictable production costs, compact footprints, and reduced service complexity. Looking ahead, Polyprint continues to refine its systems with an emphasis on usability, automation, and long-term support for garment printing businesses worldwide.
