Built around DuPont™ Artistri® JA1100 Jettable Adhesive technology, it combines a 3-head 60 cm printer and a dedicated dryer in one system designed specifically for this workflow. This is not a standard DTF setup with a different consumable. It is a purpose-built solution for in-house garment decoration, with commercial availability planned for Q3 2026.

Filmjet Powderless delivers a much softer hand feel than standard powder-based DTF, bringing the result closer to DTG and making it more suitable for premium applications where garment feel matters. It also allows smoother fade-outs and finer tonal transitions, because the process is no longer limited by powder particle size. For industries like fashion, this can change how DTF is perceived and where it can be used.
At the heart of Filmjet Powderless is DuPont™ Artistri® JA1100 Jettable Adhesive. This technology replaces the traditional TPU powder step with a liquid adhesive applied as part of the print workflow, creating the foundation for a powder-free DTF process. It is the technology that makes the entire system possible, shaping both the printer architecture and the dedicated drying process behind the final result.
The design is printed onto film using the dedicated DuPont P1600 DTF ink and JA1100 (Jetable adhesive) workflow.
DuPont™ Artistri® JA1100 Jettable Adhesive replaces the traditional powder step.
The printed film is dried with the purpose-built dryer.

At the core of the system is the Filmjet Powderless printer, developed as a dedicated 60 cm platform for powder-free DTF production.The printer uses 3 print heads arranged in line, not staggered:one for CMYK, one for White, one for JA. This inline configuration is a key part of the system design, supporting a controlled and purpose-built workflow from print to transfer preparation. Rather than adapting a conventional machine layout, Filmjet Powderless is structured around the real needs of DuPont™ Artistri® JA1100 Jettable Adhesive application.
Filmjet Powderless includes a specially developed dryer built for the requirements of DuPont™ Artistri® JA technology. Standard DTF dryers are not suitable for this process, which is why the dryer is an essential part of the Filmjet Powderless system, not a secondary add-on.
